I’ve been greeted more times…

I’ve received more “greetings” in the past month than I received in all my years before. Are there spammer conventions where they all get together and decide and agree to innudate us with the same tactic over and over and over again? I suppose the first two or three spammers who tried it got some results. But hopefully the tactic loses it’s effectiveness after the fifth, or tenth, or fiftieth time the same scam heading appears in one’s inbox. My favorite spam filter handles all of this really well, but if you’re wondering how to spot the fakes from the real greetings just watch the video.
